Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Summary

A strategic role focused on implementing and optimizing Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules in enterprise environments, collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver efficient, integrated manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules including Workdef/Work Orders, Work Centers, BOMs, Routings, WIP, Inventory, Costing, MES, Maintenance, and Production Scheduling .
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional configurations and process improvements within the Oracle Cloud environment
  • Configure the system to meet specific manufacturing operationse.g., Work Definitions, Work Orders, Work Centers, Routings, BOMs, WIP setup.
  • Facilitate CRP, UAT, SIT, and golive activities, including testing and post-implementation hypercare support .
  • Drive data migration using tools like FBDI, ADFdi, and support integrations and RICE (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements) with other modules (Inventory, Procurement, Costing, Planning)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across SCM, Inventory, Procurement, Planning, and technical colleagues for integration and smooth solution delivery
  • Develop and deliver user training, functional documentation, setup guides, and maintain knowledge transfer throughout project lifecycle
  • Resolve production issues, perform rootcause analysis, and implement post-go-live support and enhancements.
  • Provide thought leadership, recommend best practices, business process improvements, and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: Typically 410+ years in Oracle Manufacturing, with a minimum of 2 full life-cycle implementations in Fusion Manufacturing Cloud environments.
  • Functional expertise: Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing modules—Work Orders, BOM, Routing, WIP, Inventory, Cost Management, Production Scheduling, etc.
  • Domain understanding: Solid grasp of manufacturing processes such as discrete/repetitive manufacturing, shop floor control, supply chain integration, and production planning.
  • Technical and data skills: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud tools such as FBDI, ADFdi, OTBI, BI Publisher, and reporting/integration technologies (REST/SOAP APIs, OIC, Oracle Integration Cloud).
  • Implementation lifecycle expertise: Experience across design, configuration, testing, data migration, cut-over, and support phases.
  • Soft skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, training delivery, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
