Position Overview:

rProcess is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Administrator to join our team in Mysuru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining our company's IT network, servers, and security systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure and providing efficient technical support to our employees.

Job Description :

Network and System Administration:

  • Manage and maintain network servers, firewalls, and other essential technology tools.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot outages, and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure operational continuity.
  • Regularly upgrade systems with new releases and perform patch management to maintain optimal performance and security.

Security and Access Control:

  • Implement and manage robust security measures, including access controls, data backups, and firewalls.
  • Administer the LDAP server, including the management of Password Policies, Group Policies, and Organizational Units (OUs).

User and Asset Management:

  • Set up and configure new user accounts and workstations.
  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and license management.
  • Manage the company's email systems and ensure reliable communication.

Monitoring and Operations:

  • Utilize tools for monitoring bandwidth, network performance, system failures, and security alerts.
  • Manage and test data backup and restore procedures to ensure business continuity.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, processes, and procedures.

Training and Development:

  • Develop expertise in emerging technologies and create training materials to educate staff on new systems and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • BE/BSc/BCA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience as a System L1 Support Engineer, Basic Network Administrator, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with databases and networks (LAN, WAN).
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms, with a preference for Linux.
  • Excellent communication, resourcefulness, and problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification (e.g., MCSA, CompTIA Network+) is a plus.
  • Ability to create scripts in Python or another language.
