About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure product quality. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with test automation tools, frameworks, and scripting languages, along with a strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Playwright, Appium or similar.
  • Develop test frameworks and enhance existing automation suites.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and business analysts to identify test requirements.
  • Execute automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Ensure software quality by identifying issues early in the development lifecycle.
  • Work on CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests.
  • Document test strategies, plans, and results.
  • Perform regression, smoke, functional, and integration testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (X+ years) in automation testing.
  • Strong knowledge of Java/Python/JavaScript (depending on your company stack).
  • Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright or other automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD/TDD).
  • Familiarity with REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
