Job Overview

We are looking for a
Battery Service Engineer
to handle
after-sales service and technical support
for our
lead acid batteries
at end-customer sites. The role involves
field visits
,
troubleshooting
, and
ensuring customer satisfaction
through quality service and timely support.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform
    installation, testing, and maintenance
    of lead acid batteries (automotive, inverter, and solar).
  • Diagnose faults
    and perform
    repairs or replacements
    under warranty or service conditions.
  • Conduct
    battery health checks
    , voltage and specific gravity testing, and prepare detailed service reports.
  • Handle
    customer complaints
    efficiently and ensure proper
    follow-up and closure
    .
  • Maintain accurate
    records of service calls, warranty claims
    , and parts used.
  • Coordinate with dealers and distributors
    for technical assistance and service support.
  • Ensure
    timely visit scheduling
    and
    field coverage
    as per company requirements.
  • Provide
    technical feedback
    from the field to the production and quality teams.
  • Promote
    safe handling and disposal practices
    for batteries and related materials.
  • Travel extensively
    across assigned territories for service and support activities.

Requirements

  • Diploma / ITI / B.E. (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical).
  • 1–3 years of experience in
    battery service / inverter / electrical maintenance
    preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of
    lead acid battery operation, testing, and maintenance
    .
  • Must be willing to
    travel frequently
    within Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
  • Good
    communication skills
    in
    Kannada and Tamil
    (mandatory).
  • Basic
    English proficiency
    for report writing.
  • Possession of a
    two-wheeler
    and valid
    driving license
    preferred.
