As part of our growth journey, we are seeking a Co Founder & Executive Chef to join our leadership team. ground up.

Role Overview:

The Executive Chef will be the culinary head of the entire Parents/Umbrella brand, overseeing menu creation, food preparation standards, kitchen operations, hygiene protocols, and team

management. Because the startup operates multiple food brands, the Executive Chef plays a crucial role in ensuring consistency, quality, innovation, and efficiency across all categories.

Who are you:

6+ years of experience as an Executive Chef.

Formal culinary education (Hotel Management) preferred.

A passionate culinary professional with experience in high-volume kitchens.

A leader who enjoys training teams and building kitchen systems.

A problem solver with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with constant improvement.

Expert in traditional cuisine of West Bengal.

Entrepreneur Mindset:

Strong Financial Runway for 15 Months:

You have enough personal financial stability to manage your family & personal expenses for the next 15 months.

You are ready to work yourself in the kitchen and cook during the initial months.

Language Requirements:

Bengali — Native

English — Professional

Hindi — Conversational

Location Requirement:

Must be based in Kolkata.

Ready to relocate to Kolkata for at least 15 months.

Leadership Beyond a Chef:

This role is not just a Chef position—it is a Co-Founder role.

You must be capable of leading teams, making decisions, managing finances, and contributing to strategy.

As a Co-Founder, there will be no fixed salary during the first year. From the second year onward, compensation will be structured and aligned with the financial stage and growth of the startup. For the first year, a profit-sharing option will be available from the very first day of profit calculation, and the payout will be made on a monthly basis.
