We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Lead - IRR Finance

Business: Global Finance

Principal responsibilities

Lead and coordinate regulatory change initiatives within Credit Risk reporting domain, ensuring timely and accurate implementation of requirements (eg, Basel 3, 3.1, PRA101, Corep and Pillar 3)Partner with PMO and senior management to prioritise change initiatives within the regulatory roadmap and ensure strategic alignment with overall programme.Act as a key liaison between Regulatory Policy, Credit Risk BAU, Finance, Data and Technology teams to align interpretation & implementation of the changes with data and reporting capabilities.Drive requirement gathering, impact assessment and design for change requirements ensuring fully traceability.Oversee process and system changes to ensure data integrity, lineage and reconciliations between the processes.Implement robust governance and control frameworks across change delivery, including issue tracking, remediation plans, validation and post implementation reviews.Own the change log and stakeholder signoff processBuild effective relationships with key stakeholders within 1st line of defence, 2nd line of defence and 3rd line of defence. Leverage these relationships to contribute to Assurance and Governance framework for the Action & Issue closures.Good understanding of Credit Risk RWAs and Leverage Reporting including the UK Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR)The role holder will also co-ordinate closely with the external auditors, and support reporting to key governance meetings with senior management.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, credit risk management or finance change within major banking institutions. Deep knowledge of Basel III/Iv capital rules, PRA/ECB/HKMA reporting frameworks and CRR/CRD interpretation.Good understanding of reporting processes and systems.Experience in the delivery of change with excellent business analysis capabilities and a track record of successfully being involved in complex change projects with cross functional impacts and dependenciesExcellent relationship management and collaboration skillsExperience of large-scale projects Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders Experience of working with Risk Stewards, CCO teams, Internal and External Audit

What additional skills will be good to have?

Experience with UK PRA regulatory Reporting or COREP environment preferred.Experience with Investment Banking products.
