Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Safety Officer located in Pune. The Safety Officer will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and adherence to safety protocols at various project sites. Daily tasks include conducting safety inspections, training employees on safety practices, identifying and mitigating hazards, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations. The Safety Officer will also be responsible for maintaining safety documentation and reporting any incidents or near misses to management.

Qualifications

• Experience in conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, and mitigating risks
• Capability to train employees on safety protocols and practices
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in maintaining safety documentation and reporting incidents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field is preferred
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or similar are advantageous
