Role & responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using ASP.NET Core/MVC and desktop applications using WinForms.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless system communication and data exchange.
  • Manage database operations using SQL Server through ADO.NET and Entity Framework Core.
  • Implement middleware, logging mechanisms, and global exception handling to enhance reliability and maintainability.
  • Handle deployment and configuration of applications on IIS, including HTTPS setup and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams, adhere to SOLID principles, and ensure high standards of performance, scalability, and code quality.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Technologies: .NET Framework 4.5 and above, C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, WinForms, RESTful APIs.
  • Database: SQL Server, ADO.NET, Entity Framework Core.
  • Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap.
  • Tools: Visual Studio Code, Postman, IIS.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT, or Masters in computer applications are prefered
  • 2-5 years of hands-on experience in .NET development.
  • Experience working in research or project-based environments is an added advantage.
