About the role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented
Product Manager
who combines strong product thinking with hands-on technical expertise. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in
backend Python development
, deep understanding of
Lending or Supply Chain Finance (SCF)
, and a proven ability to deliver customer-focused products.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Identify customer needs, market gaps, and emerging trends in lending/SCF.
• Translate business opportunities into product initiatives with clear priorities.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Work closely with customers, sales, and internal stakeholders to define product requirements.
• Create detailed PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution flows.
• Collaborate with UI/UX to design intuitive workflows and experiences.

Technical Collaboration

• Leverage backend Python development knowledge to understand system capabilities, data structures, and integration workflows.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate translation of requirements into technical designs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and feasibility analysis.

Execution & Delivery

• Lead the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prioritize and manage the product backlog based on business value.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams—engineering, QA, DevOps, data, operations—to ensure smooth releases.

Domain Expertise – Lending / SCF

• Define workflows for loan origination, credit assessment, underwriting, servicing, and collections (as applicable).
• Understand SCF models like PO financing, invoice discounting, vendor financing, dynamic discounting, etc.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and audit requirements.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct product demos, collect feedback, and refine features continuously.
• Collaborate with enterprise clients, partners, and internal teams for custom implementations.
• Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and end-user satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in
  backend Python development
  (previous hands-on coding experience).
• Good understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is an added advantage.
• 5+ years of overall experience, with at least 2–3 years in product management.
• Proven track record of delivering B2B fintech or enterprise products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in writing PRDs, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Prior experience in
  lending
  or
  supply chain finance
  (must-have).
• Understanding of financial workflows, KYC, risk models, credit processes, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for building impactful products.
• Certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with fintech products, LOS/LMS, SCF platforms, or credit engines.
• Exposure to data analytics or BI tools.
