Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AEM Developer with strong Java development skills and hands-on experience in Adobe Experience Manager. The role involves building AEM components, integrating backend APIs, and connecting Adobe pages with frontend applications using GraphQL and modern UI frameworks.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in Java/AEM development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.x or AEM Cloud).
  • Expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling Models, Servlets, JCR, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with GraphQL queries and integrating GraphQL endpoints.
  • Solid understanding of API persistence layers and backend data handling.
  • Ability to integrate AEM components/pages with frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of AEM architecture, dispatcher, caching, and workflows.
  • Experience working with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager
  • Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Knowledge of React/Angular for better integration understanding
  • Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.
  • Hands-on development using AEM Core Components and Adobe best practices.
  • Strong backend development using Java, Spring, and REST APIs.
  • Build and optimize queries using GraphQL for content delivery.
  • Implement API persistence and backend logic for AEM-driven applications.
  • Integrate AEM pages with frontend frameworks (React/Angular/HTML/CSS).
  • Collaborate closely with frontend teams to deliver seamless UI experiences.
  • Optimize AEM components for performance, caching, and scalability.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing AEM and Java-based modules.
  • Work in an Agile environment and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and deployments.
