About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments   

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Business Analyst, Solutions Analyst or a similar role.

  • Experience working in Agile software development environments, JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience translating business requirements and designs into Acceptance Criteria to guide engineering work and testing.

It would be great if you also had

  • Foster collaboration and continuous improvement within the engineering team to maintain efficiency and focus.
  • Support the QA process by ensuring requirements and acceptance criteria are testable and validating that deliverables meet business needs.

What will you do in this role?

  • Supports Product Owners by gathering requirements, grooming user stories, and facilitating workshops.

  • Acts as Scrum Master for sprint planning, backlog management, and agile ceremonies.

  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies, including planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and reviews, ensuring agile practices are followed.

  • Help the engineering team and Product Owners prioritize work for upcoming sprints, balancing capacity and business priorities

  • Identify and remove obstacles that could impact sprint progress, escalating issues when necessary.

  • Maintain sprint metrics (velocity, burndown) and provide updates to Product Owners and leadership on sprint progress.

  • Assist Product Owners in discovery efforts for larger transformation initiatives by capturing business pain points, goals, and future-state requirements.

  • Coordinate with architects and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business objectives.
