Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Monitor and record patients' vitals, symptoms, and medical histories, and communicate changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Assist in medical procedures within the Operating Theatre, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and patient safety.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans and execute treatment protocols efficiently.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by doctors, observing any potential side effects or reactions.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing medical procedures and post-discharge care, fostering understanding and compliance.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development opportunities to stay abreast of nursing advancements and best practices.
