JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our hospital's communications and marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality visual content that supports our hospital's branding, patient education, internal communication, and outreach efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce digital and print materials including brochures, posters, flyers, social media graphics, newsletters, signage, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with departments to create engaging visual content that communicates complex healthcare information clearly and effectively.
  • Ensure all designs follow the hospital's branding guidelines and maintain consistency across all materials.
  • Assist with the design and layout of internal documents and patient education materials.
  • Coordinate with printers and vendors to ensure high-quality production of printed materials.
  • Maintain and update graphic files, templates, and image libraries.
  • Support website and digital media design as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of professional graphic design experience (experience in a healthcare or nonprofit environment is a plus).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and professional design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
  • Understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and branding principles.
  • Experience with digital media design, including social media, web, and email graphics.

  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with print production processes
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Photography or video editing skills are a bonus
