Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Demand Planning

In this role, Manager will play crucial role in improving FEU forecast Accuracy, bias, coverage and adoption for their respective market country through adding valuable insights, collaboration with planners and generate positive business outcome.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the process of S & OP and own the monthly estimation meetings, in order to reduce BIAS, improve the accuracy of the estimation and promote continuous optimization in demand planning;
• Lead the continuous improvement agenda, analyzing losses and generating action plans for: Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Bias (FB), supports schedule of Stock Availability (SA)
• Good to have exposure/experience in Supply chain planning platform like SAP APO, Kinaxis, Oracle etc.
• Conceptual understanding in areas such as Forecasting, Classification, Simulation and optimization using various approaches is required.
• Strong understanding of SCM Planning process, Demand (Top & Bottoms up) approaches
• Hands-on experience on statistical, forecasting, stochastic algorithms, Machine Learning approaches solving SCM problems across Industry (Manufacturing/ Hitech/ CPG/ Retail etc.)
• Adapts quickly to computer applications & systems and is proficient in MS Office Suite of products
• Strong Process Development, Improvement and Implementation experience
• Strong Communication in English– both oral and written skills. Ability to communicate efficiency with all levels of management and peers, both internally and externally
• Ambitious and independent personality with problem-solving skills. Ability to work under tight timelines; multi-tasking abilities; exception-based management capability.
• Ability to lead a team with a continuous improvement mind-set.
• Focused to run the operations (SCM Analytics) and own the SLAs. Ensure on time, accurate deliverables while steering/providing mentorship to the team.
• Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external partners
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others

Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate in Operations, Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Business or related field with understanding of processes related to Demand Planning, S&OP, Inventory Management, Inventory Optimization, Supply Allocation and Sourcing, Replenishment Management, Capacity Management.
• Supply Chain related experience in Supply & Demand Planning, preferably in Hitech / Manufacturing / CPG/ Consumer Electronics company/ Retail.
• Proficient in handling large Data Sets Using Excel (Required), SQL (Good to have)
• Proficient in Written and Verbal communication along with related software like MS Word and Powerpoint.
• Knack for conceptualizing and presenting solutions in convincing manner.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, schedule driven, collaborative environment
• Certifications like CPIM / CSCP
• A good learner to grasp & learn the various tools used in the process.
