Job Summary:

We are looking for highly motivated and qualified professionals to join our esteemed faculty as Assistant Professors in the Finance Department. The ideal candidates will have expertise in Financial Modeling and Project Management within the domain of Finance, and will be responsible for educating and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students.

As part of our academic team, the Assistant Professors will contribute to the teaching, research, and development of courses that bridge theory and practice in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Delivery:

  • Conduct engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Financial Modeling or Project Management.

  • Prepare comprehensive lesson plans and deliver course material aligned with the latest industry trends and practices.

  • Design assignments, projects, and case studies that emphasize practical application and critical thinking.

  • Assess student performance through examinations, assignments, and individual/group projects.

  • Facilitate hands-on learning and simulation exercises related to financial modeling and project management techniques.

  • Curriculum Development:

  • Develop and regularly update course content in response to emerging trends and industry needs.

  • Innovate and integrate industry tools and software (e.g., Excel, R, Python, Microsoft Project, etc.) into the curriculum.

  • Ensure the curriculum is aligned with both academic standards and practical applications in the finance industry.

  • Research and Development:

  • Engage in scholarly activities including research in finance, specifically related to financial modeling, project management, and related subjects.

  • Publish research papers in reputable journals and contribute to knowledge dissemination in finance.

  • Supervise student research and provide guidance on finance-related projects.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Participate in departmental and institutional meetings, academic committees, and other administrative functions.

  • Contribute to student mentorship, provide academic counseling, and support career development initiatives.

  • Engage in professional development and maintain up-to-date knowledge on finance industry advancements.

Qualifications and Eligibility:

  • Educational Qualifications:

  • UGC NET qualification in Commerce or Finance is mandatory.

  • Must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Finance, Project Management, or related fields (preferred).

  • Master's degree (M.Com, MBA in Finance, etc.) with specialization in Finance, Financial Modeling, Project Management, or any related discipline.

  • Minimum of 55% marks throughout the academic career (10th, 12th, UG, and PG).

  • Experience:

  • 0-2 years of teaching experience in finance or related fields.

  • Practical experience in financial modeling, project management, or industry exposure will be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with financial software and tools (e.g., MS Excel, VBA, R, Python, SAP, MS Project, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹45,000.00 per month
