Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Python Developer role based in Chennai. The responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining back-end web applications, writing clean and efficient code, and integrating databases. The Python Developer will also focus on adhering to object-oriented programming principles and collaborating with teams to deliver robust and scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for web, UI, PDF, email, and

scheduling tasks.

 Work on web scraping projects using Python libraries.

 Automate data handling in Excel and CSV formats.

 Build and integrate REST APIs using frameworks like Flask/FastAPI/Django.

 Manage database interactions (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

 Apply testing frameworks to ensure script reliability and performance.

 Collaborate with DevOps for deployment and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Docker, Jenkins,

Azure DevOps, etc.).

 Document processes, create reusable modules, and support debugging.

 Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients in English to understand

requirements and provide updates.

 Scheduling/Automation: Apscheduler, Airflow, Cron, Task Automation Scripts

 Database Interaction: SQLite, SQLAlchemy, psycopg2, MySQL connector

 Testing Frameworks: Pytest, Unittest, Mock, Selenium

 Deployment Knowledge: Docker, Nginx, AWS, GCP, Heroku

 Frameworks (Web/API): Django, Flask, FastAPI, Streamlit

Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

 Minimum 4 years of proven experience in Python development and automation.

 Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

 Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal).
