Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant at VPS Lakeshore Hospital in Kochi. The Physician Assistant will assist doctors and surgeons in delivering patient care, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, conducting medical examinations, and administering therapies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, collaborating with the healthcare team to plan treatments, educating patients about health management, and supporting surgical procedures. The role requires close adherence to clinical protocols and active participation in improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic assessments, clinical practices, and patient care
  • Proficiency in surgical assistance, treatment planning, and therapeutic administration
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient education skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate medical records and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Certification from a recognized Physician Assistant program and state licensing
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to adhering to medical regulations and standards
  • Experience in multi-specialty medical settings or relevant specialties is preferred
