Job Description – AccountantWe are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage financial records, reconciliation, and GST compliance for our garment industry operations. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in accounting within the garment industry and be well-versed in statutory requirements.
- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle B2B reconciliation and ensure accuracy of transactions.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation on a regular basis.
- Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) on time.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial statements.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required.
- Assist management in financial planning and analysis.
- Candidate RequirementsEducation: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in the garment industry (accounting role).
- Technical Knowledge:
- B2B Reconciliation
- Bank Reconciliation
- GST filing (R1 & 3B)
- Tally / ERP software knowledge (preferred)
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication & reporting skills
