Role & responsibilities

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing components.
  • Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Python and FastAPI.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and ensure seamless database integration.
  • Implement modern security standards to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  • Write robust, high-performance code and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality.
  • Identify and resolve bugs, optimize code, and ensure responsiveness to front-end requests.
  • Work closely with data analysts and engineers to integrate AI models and big data solutions.
  • Design and manage efficient data storage systems using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Ensure backend systems follow best practices in architecture, performance, and maintainability.

Preferred candidate profile

  • End-to-end software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and frontend frameworks like React/TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP, algorithms, data structures, and system design.
  • Experience with ORM tools (e.g., SQLAlchemy).
  • Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of high-throughput data technologies (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent), CI/CD, autoscaling, and serverless architectures.
  • Experience with Git, RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ, and project management tools like Jira.
  • Domain knowledge in finance is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI/ML and blockchain technologies is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects effectively.
  • Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
