Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to head the Project Management Office (PMO) for a reputed real estate organization. This strategic role involves overseeing the planning and execution of large-scale residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across geographies. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, establish robust governance frameworks, and ensure timely, budget-compliant, and quality-focused project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Establish and lead the PMO function to standardize project delivery across the portfolio
- Define governance frameworks, reporting systems, and review mechanisms
- Align project execution with business goals and strategic priorities
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, risk mitigation, and resource optimization
Project Delivery & Performance Management
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of multiple high-value projects
- Monitor progress against timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks
- Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and sustainability standards
- Identify risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Finance, Sales)
- Interface with external stakeholders including contractors, consultants, architects, and authorities
- Present project updates and performance insights to senior leadership
Team Leadership
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of project managers and engineers
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration
- Promote capability building and knowledge sharing across teams
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil or Construction Engineering
- MBA or PMP certification preferred
Experience:
- 1520 years in construction/project management within large-scale real estate or infrastructure organizations
- Proven track record of leading multiple high-value projects end-to-end
- Proficiency in project planning tools (Primavera / MS Project), budgeting, and quality systems
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience working with senior leadership in a matrix environment
