  • We are seeking an experienced AS/400 RPGLE Developer to join our team
  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RPG/RPGLE development, SQLRPGLE, and CL programming, along with experience working in an IBM i (AS/400) environment
  • The role involves developing and maintaining applications, integrating various systems, debugging batch processes, and preparing technical documentation
  • Experience with Aldon change management and interfacing with other systems is highly desirable
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications in RPG/RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and CL within an AS/400 environment
  • Work with DB2/400 databases to design and optimize SQL queries
  • Handle system integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between different systems
  • Develop and work with APIs, particularly in the AS/400 environment
  • Create and manage JSON structures within RPGLE programs
  • Debug batch processes, manage JOBQs, and respond to message wait (MSGW) conditions
  • Use Aldon change management for code versioning and deployment
  • Work with IFS and FTP for file handling and system interactions
  • Prepare functional requirement documents and detailed technical design documentation
