Job Description

We are seeking a skilled
Piping Design Engineer
with 5–10 years of experience in the Water or EPC industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piping design and engineering, along with hands-on experience in relevant software and the ability to lead and train a team of piping designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and review
    Piping GA drawings, Isometric drawings, 3D models, Pipe supports, Bill of Materials (BOM)
    , and fabrication drawings.
  • Perform
    clash detection and resolution
    in 3D piping models.
  • Coordinate with draftspersons and other design disciplines for drawing preparation and updates.
  • Independently check and validate
    piping fabrication drawings
    ,
    support drawings
    , and related documentation for
    Water Treatment Plants
    .
  • Carry out
    thickness calculations, pipe sizing
    , and
    Material of Construction (MOC) selection
    .
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation, and Process to align design intent.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to a team of junior piping designers.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, project specifications, and safety codes.

  • AutoCAD
  • Pro-Pipe
  • Autodesk Plant 3D
  • CADWorx
  • MS Office
    (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Hands-on experience with
    STAAD
    will be an added advantage.
