About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with strong problem-solving abilities, algorithmic thinking, and expertise in core Java, data structures, and databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in backend systems, a deep understanding of database administration (setup, optimization, and troubleshooting), and the ability to analyze logs to diagnose backend issues. This role involves working on high-performance, scalable systems in the backup and recovery domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize high-performance backend applications using Core Java and Microservices.
  • Design and implement efficient algorithms and data structures to improve system performance.
  • Analyze backend logs to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.
  • Manage database administration tasks including setup, configuration, monitoring, performance tuning, and issue triaging.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve application architecture and database reliability.
  • Scale and optimize backend components to enhance reliability, fault tolerance, and performance.
  • Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and unit testing.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, databases, and distributed systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
  • Strong command over Core Java, Multithreading, Collections, and Design Patterns.
  • In-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with database administration, including setup, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in debugging backend issues using logs, monitoring tools, and performance profiling.
  • Knowledge of Linux Operating System.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Experience in the Backup & Recovery domain is a strong advantage.
