We build AI agents that talk to borrowers, work along with them and help them come out of debt to create a win-win for both the borrower as well as the bank. We're looking for someone who can own security at Riverline end-to-end. You'll be the face of security and compliance for Riverline, setting the gold standard for how AI and compliance coexist in financial systems.

What you'll do

→
Security & Compliance

  • Build Riverline's security and compliance foundation from scratch.
  • Set up org-wide controls, processes, and infosec documentation.
  • Drive everything related to
    data compliance:
    storage, access, retention, encryption.
  • Maintain the
    "Gold Standard Compliance"
    for AI-powered debt counseling.
  • Create and manage the
    Riverline Trust Vault:
    a live portal showcasing every policy, audit, and artifact.
  • Work with NBFC partners and their infosec teams during due diligence.
  • Collaborate with our compliance partners on ISO 27001 / SOC 2 certifications.

→ Backend & Cloud Engineering

  • Build systems and automations that can scale our AI agents to millions of interactions.
  • Own cloud infrastructure, both from a scale and security standpoint.
  • Build internal tools to streamline operations and compliance workflows.

Who you are

  • 1-3 years of experience in backend or platform engineering.
  • Strong foundation in cloud security.
  • Comfortable working across Python / Node / FastAPI / TypeScript stacks.
  • Prior exposure to fintech / infosec / compliance-heavy environments is a plus.
  • Bias to action: you don't just follow controls, you build them and ensure it's followed.
  • Clear communicator who can explain technical security to both engineers and NBFC partners.
