Junior Accountant

Location: Dalhousi, Kolkata

Salary: ₹14,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our accounts department. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting and be able to handle day-to-day financial operations efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily accounting transactions in Tally/Excel
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Maintain purchase, sales, and expense records
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Prepare GST and TDS data for filing
  • Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts
  • Support the senior accountant in all accounting tasks

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Office
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
