Work Location: Remote 

Work timing: Night Shift (Fixed 2 days Off + Night shift allowance)

Ideal candidate:

Several years of experience with Windows 2012/2016/2019 Server platforms. Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations. Good Hands-on with SQL management and troubleshooting.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Experience setting up and managing database systems such as SQL Server.  Advanced hardware & software troubleshooting skills.  Maintains quality customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and is a team player with the ability to work well independently.  Must possess above-average organizational skills, excellent communication skills, and can demonstrate problem-solving skills.  Considered an out-of-the-box thinker and displays a willingness to learn.

Essential Functions:

Assists in planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PCs, servers, network equipment, and software applications.Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for all server backups.Monitors plans and coordinates the distribution of client/server software and service packs.Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement.Performs on-site and remote technical support.Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources.Maintains excellent communications with internal and external stakeholders on all tasks and projects.Creates and maintains good technical documentationConfiguration of Virtual Servers and High Availability applications.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Perform other duties as assigned.Maintains excellent communications with internal and external stakeholders on all tasks and projects

Skills Needed:

Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016)Performs configuration of Virtual Servers and High Availability applicationsStrong working knowledge of LAN/WAN configurations to include experience with Cisco routers and switches, as well as internet firewalls and wireless technologySignificant experience of Basic Windows scriptingStrong hardware and software troubleshooting skillsApache TomcatHands-on experience on VMware/Hyper-VExperience with Deploying Servers/Operating Systems/ApplicationsExperience with logs(debugging, finding the problems)Experience with any ticketing system.Finding configuration problemsExperience with ETL jobs (basic at least)Strong with Microsoft product suite.Familiar with CiscoMaintain Technical Documents.Good experience in DOS commandsHardware Knowledge.

Ideal Past Employer/Education/Certifications:

Technical degree or equivalent experience6+ years of experience and 4 years in Deployment functions.
