Role Overview

As a Full Stack Developer at OotyTech, you will be responsible for building and maintaining modern web applications using React and , while also supporting WordPress-based projects. This role requires a balance of frontend and backend expertise along with flexibility to adapt across platforms and project types.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using and
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Customize and maintain WordPress themes and plugins as needed
  • Ensure responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontends
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA teams
  • Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and apply best coding practices
  • Maintain code quality through version control (Git) and code reviews
  • Work across multiple projects with varied technical requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in full stack development
  • Proficient in , , JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with , MongoDB or SQL databases
  • Working knowledge of WordPress (custom themes, plugins, hooks, etc.)
  • Familiar with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integrations
  • Version control using Git/GitHub
  • Strong understanding of responsive and cross-browser design
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with , TypeScript, or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of deployment tools (e.g., Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce or headless WordPress
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals for development
