Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Tableau Developer with hands-on experience in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. The ideal candidate should also have working knowledge or exposure to Tableau Pulse, with the ability to define and track key metrics, automate insights, and support business teams with actionable analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports using best visualization practices.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions.
- Support Tableau Pulse setup, including metric definitions, KPI tracking, and insight generation.
- Integrate Tableau with various data sources (SQL, Excel, cloud data platforms, etc.).
- Optimize existing dashboards for performance, usability, and data accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineering, business analysis, and operations) to ensure data consistency.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data visualization, metrics refresh, and dashboard performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Tableau dashboard development and data visualization.
- Understanding of Tableau Pulse, metric layer concepts, and AI-driven insights.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data blending, and visualization best practices.
- Experience with Tableau Cloud or Tableau Server.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
