Job Purpose:

To manage project billing, contract administration, and cost control by preparing and verifying bills, valuations, and certifications, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and accurate financial reporting.

Location: Head Office - Bangalore

Precast Experience is desirable, not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing & Certification

  • Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) bills, final bills, and interim payment applications as per contract terms.
  • Verify subcontractor bills, work measurements, and reconciliation with site execution.
  • Ensure timely certification of bills from clients/consultants.
  • Measurement & Documentation
  • Conduct site measurements and prepare measurement sheets for executed works.
  • Maintain detailed records of work progress, quantities, and variations.
  • Support preparation of bar bending schedules (BBS) and quantity take-offs.

Cost & Contract Management

  • Monitor project costs, variations, and deviations from the BOQ.
  • Assist in the preparation of claims for extra works, variation orders, and escalation.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure billing is aligned with contractual obligations.

Liaison & Coordination

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients for billing approvals.
  • Provide timely MIS reports on billing status, cash flow, and receivables.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, GST invoicing, and contractual payment terms.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of
    BOQ, rate analysis, and contract clauses
    .
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel and AutoCAD
  • Good understanding of
    construction drawings, specifications, and IS codes
    .
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
    B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil.
  • Experience:
    3–8 years (depending on role level) in billing and quantity surveying in construction/infra projects.
  • Preferred Background:
    Contracting firms
