Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DBA with a strong background in database administration across MS-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Cloud SQL and a solid understanding of GCP fundamentals. This role involves working directly with clients, ensuring robust database performance, and maintaining high standards of data availability and security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform database operations and monitoring
  • Handle database creation, deletion, and upgrades
  • Manage administration and configuration of DB environments
  • Execute backup and restore procedures
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization
  • Support instance whitelisting for GKE applications
  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ years of hands-on DBA experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS-SQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL
  • Basic Google Cloud Platform (GCP) knowledge
  • Proven experience with Cloud SQL
  • Strong skills in performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹1,900,000.00 per year
