About The Role
We are hiring a
Backend Engineer
with expertise in

and
Django/FastAPI**
. The role will focus on building backend services, designing APIs, and ensuring seamless integrations across internal and external systems. This is a hands-on engineering position where you'll directly contribute to the foundation of our product.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services in and Django/FastAPI.
  • Build, integrate, and manage APIs for internal systems and third-party services.
  • Ensure backend applications are secure, reliable, and optimized for scale.
  • Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver complete product features.
  • Manage relational and NoSQL databases, write optimized queries, and maintain data integrity.
  • Implement best practices in authentication, authorization, and API security.
  • Debug, monitor, and optimize backend performance.
  • Maintain proper technical documentation of services and APIs.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience with and Django/FastAPI.
  • Proven track record of building RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with API authentication standards (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Proficiency with Git, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of system design and scalable architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).

full-time, in-office role (Bangalore, 5 days/week)
