Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative SEO and Content Writer with a passion for travel to join our team. The ideal candidate will craft high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content that inspires and informs our target audience. You will be responsible for producing a variety of travel-related content, including blog posts, destination guides, travel tips, and website copy, while implementing SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation:
  • Write and develop compelling, original content for the travel website, blog, and other platforms, focusing on destination guides, travel itineraries, travel tips, etc.
  • Create engaging copy for newsletters, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Update and maintain existing content to ensure accuracy, relevancy, and SEO effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to create multimedia content, including videos and infographics.
  • SEO Strategy:
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify content opportunities based on travel trends and user intent.
  • Optimize content for SEO, including meta tags, headers, and keyword placement to enhance organic search rankings.
  • Analyze competitors' content strategies and stay updated on Google algorithm changes and SEO trends.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to ensure content aligns with SEO goals and strategies.
  • Editing & Proofreading:
  • Ensure all content is grammatically correct, error-free, and consistent with the brand voice and style.
  • Proofread and edit content produced by other team members or freelancers as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a content writer in the travel industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and hands-on experience with keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Ability to write clear, engaging, and informative content tailored to various audiences.
  • Strong research skills to ensure the content is accurate, detailed, and up-to-date.
  • Knowledge of travel trends, popular destinations, and customer preferences.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and basic HTML is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
  • Passion for travel and sharing unique insights about destinations, cultures, and experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in travel blogging or working with travel-related brands.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing and content distribution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
