Lab Assistant

Salary: 20,000 30,000 per month

We are looking for a Lab Assistant to support metallurgical testing and quality assurance. The role involves handling advanced instruments like the Spectrometer and Metallurgical Microscope for analysis of steel raw materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Spectrometer to check chemical composition of steel.
• Prepare and test steel samples as per standard procedures.
• Operate Metallurgical Microscope for grain size, decarburization, and microstructure analysis.
• Maintain daily test reports and calibration records.
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and calibration of lab instruments.
• Support quality team during customer audits and internal inspections.
• Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with ISO / IATF guidelines.

Qualification & Skills

• ITI / Diploma (Metallurgy, Mechanical, Lab Technology) or B.Sc. (Chemistry/Metallurgy).
• 13 years' experience preferred (freshers with relevant knowledge may apply).
• Hands-on knowledge of Spectrometer & Metallurgical Microscope.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, report preparation).
• Attention to detail and record-keeping ability.
