We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Wealth Management, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities include implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop Mobile applications for chase apps using Swift, Swift UI and Objective C
  • Optimize application for various mobile screen sizes, iPad, iWatch and other iOS devices
  • Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code for human readability.
  • Apply agile principles and use collaborative tools for knowledge sharing.
  • Work effectively within a large organization with multiple teams.
  • Complete development assignments on time with high quality and participate in projects from concept to implementation through all software development lifecycle phases.
  • Support project releases and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Collaborate with design, accessibility, and platform teams to ensure UI consistency
  • Implement and maintain unit and UI tests for component reliability

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing mobile applications using SwiftUI, Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience in integration of APIs with Mobile app and proficient in using iOS development tool XCode
  • Build responsive apps for various iOS device sizes and experience in releasing apps to App Store or Enterprise App Stores using CI/CD pipeline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent development experience.
  • Proficiency in Git/Bitbucket version control.
  • Experience with API integration and distributed systems.& strong understanding of design patterns, modular architecture, and dependency injection

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Familiarity with Android or other front-end technologies
  • Experience with AI-native development skills or GenAI APIs is preferred
