We're seeking a creative and versatile Video Editor to produce high-quality, engaging commercial content across multiple platforms. You'll be responsible for creating everything from polished advertising campaigns with professional animations and seamless transitions to viral-worthy social media content that captures attention in the first 3 seconds.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality commercial videos with professional animations, dynamic transitions, and motion graphics for advertising campaigns and product launches
  • Create engaging app explainer videos and software demo content that simplify complex features into easy-to-understand visuals
  • Develop animated product walkthroughs and tutorial videos for web and mobile applications
  • Create platform-optimized content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social platforms
  • Transform raw footage from staff and user-generated content into compelling promotional materials with polished visual effects
  • Design eye-catching thumbnails, animated logos, and advanced motion graphics
  • Implement smooth transitions, kinetic typography, and engaging visual effects that elevate content quality
  • Produce screencasts with animated overlays and callouts for software demonstrations
  • Ensure brand consistency across all video content while maintaining broadcast-quality standards
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously with quick turnaround times
  • Stay current with social media trends and viral content formats
  • Collaborate with marketing team to align video content with campaign goals
  • Add professionally designed captions, subtitles, and animated text overlays optimized for mobile viewing
  • Create multiple versions of content (different lengths, formats, aspect ratios) from single projects

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of professional video editing experience with demonstrable expertise in creating commercial-quality content
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial work, social media content, AND app explainer/software demo videos
  • Experience creating engaging explainer videos that break down complex products or services
  • Proven ability to create visually stunning content with professional-grade effects and animations
  • Understanding of what makes content engaging on different platforms
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Creative problem-solver who can work with varying quality of source material
  • Knowledge of current memes, trends, and social media culture
  • Experience with performance marketing and conversion-focused content is a plus
