HR Business Partner (HR Head) AGM/DGM

Reporting Functionally
to HR Leader, Industrial BU-BFL and Operationally to Business Head, JSA
Direct Reports
& Admin team (8-12 members)
Purpose
Execute Human Resource Strategy & Plan as per AOP to achieve overall business objectives and ensure smooth business operations in all its plants to ensure alignment on people processes.
Company Overview
They have 4 manufacturing units in Coimbatore, comprising 2 foundry units and 2 machining units, 1 packaging plant with a total workforce of 2,800 employees.
· The company has experienced significant growth, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over 38% last year, expanding from 400 cr. to 700 cr. They have an ambitious business plan to grow the topline range of 2000 cr. to 5000 cr. in the coming years.
Responsibilities
· Performance Management
o Support to drive the performance appraisal process and provide conceptual and system administrative support and manage communication and required follow-ups.
o Work closely with business to enable them with end-to-end process
o C&B and retention proposals
o Align with overall guidelines issued at a group level
· Audit and Compliance
o Monitor all compliances under Factory's Act 1948 and other applicable statutory aspects
o Work with compliance and other HR vendors
o Manage compliance data, reports, and query resolution for audits

People Analytics & Digitization
o Help to maintain HR databases accurately in HRMS tool
o Monitor and report all HR Employee lifecycle processes
o Publish periodic HR Dashboards
o Track and report all major HR metrics
o Employee data hygiene

Employee Engagement & L&D
o Drive employee engagement at BU level with Action Planning
o Enhance EES on y-on-y basis
o Survey administration
o Periodic communication on joining announcements, circulars, etc.
o Execute end-to-end R&R process at BU level

Industrial Relations
o Developing and Implementing Policies:
o Creating and enforcing policies and procedures related to employee relations, labor relations, and workplace safety.
o Conflict Resolution:
o Mediating disputes between employees and management, investigating and resolving grievances, and addressing employee complaints.
o Labor Law Compliance:
o Ensuring the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations.
o Negotiation and Collective Bargaining:
o Representing the organization in negotiations with labor unions and facilitating collective bargaining agreements.
o Employee Relations:
o Fostering positive relationships between employees and management, promoting employee engagement, and developing strategies to improve employee morale and productivity.
o Communication:
o Facilitating communication between management and employees, ensuring clear and consistent messaging regarding workplace policies and procedures.
o Training and Development:
o Developing and delivering training programs on labor relations topics, and providing guidance and support to management on employee relations issues.
o Monitoring and Analysis:
o Tracking labor relations trends, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions to management.

Talent Management
o Talent retention of top 20% talent pool
o Work with leaders on Organisation Leadership Review at across levels for critical roles
o IDP for N-1/2/3 level talent
o Succession planning for key & business critical roles

Talent Acquisition
o Hiring for specific verticals within BU with 30% utilisation
o Maintain high Quality of hire
o Introduce talent assessment methods and coach business leaders
o Ensure 100% manning for staff and contract workforce
o Managing and engaging manpower vendors
o Drive IJP and referral programs across organisation
· Work collaboratively with the team and with cross functional leaders
**
The role may include 15% travel within India.
*Local language proficiency is mandatory,
Qualifications and Experience
M.B.A or MSW in Human Resources or related field from reputed institute with Bachelors Degree in Engineering is highly preferred.
Remuneration
CTC budget of 40 to 50 lacs with 10-15% variable & other benefits applicable as per company policy
