Job Summary

As an Auditor in our Internal Audit group, you will lead audit assignments, perform and document audit testing, partner closely with global Audit colleagues and business stakeholders, and use judgment to strengthen internal controls. You will be responsible for assisting with ongoing risk assessment, control identification, audit execution and continuous monitoring activities across Asset & Wealth Management functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist or lead audit engagements covering Asset Wealth Management functions including risk assessment, audit planning, audit testing, control evaluation, documenting work papers, audit report drafting and follow-up and verification of issue closure.
• Meet time frame and budget targets for assigned audit work, whilst adhering to department and professional standards and utilizing consistent methodology.
• Collaborate with other groups and regions within Audit to ensure the delivery of a seamless program of audit coverage across the firm.
• Establish and maintain a business climate and culture that encourages integrity, respect, excellence and innovation.
• Travel to locations internationally (up to 10%), if required, and adjust work timings, as needed, to support global teams

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Minimum MBA degree
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a financial services firm/bank, with an audit or risk/control background
• Ability to lead audits and execute audit work remotely, work effectively within a matrix organization, manage multiple projects and participate in audit assignments in a team environment.
• Proficiency in risk assessment, issue/impact analysis and executive report preparation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and works well individually and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Chartered Accountant preferred
• Experience of and exposure to Asset Management and/or Wealth Management business will be an added advantage.
