Job Title: BI Solution Architect Experience: 8+ Years Location: Bangalore/ Mumbai (Hybrid) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and visionary BI Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable Business Intelligence (BI) solutions across the enterprise. This role will serve as the technical and strategic leader in defining the Power BI architecture, data integration patterns, governance standards, and migration roadmap from legacy platforms such as Tableau to Power BI. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in BI and data architecture with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills to ensure that BI solutions align with business goals, deliver actionable insights, and drive data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership & Strategy

• Define and own the overall Power BI solution architecture, including data modeling standards, semantic layer design, and governance frameworks.
• Lead the enterprise BI modernization strategy, including the migration from Tableau to Power BI Cloud, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with enterprise data architecture principles.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Cloud Architecture teams to establish robust data pipelines, governance, and security models across GCP, Azure, AWS, and on-premise environments.
• Establish and enforce best practices for Power BI development, deployment, and lifecycle management (including CI/CD pipelines for BI).
• Drive adoption of self-service BI capabilities across business units while maintaining data governance and consistency.

Technical Design & Oversight

• Design end-to-end BI architectures—from data ingestion and transformation to visualization and reporting.
• Define and maintain data modeling standards for enterprise-wide consistency (including star/snowflake schema, semantic models, and measures using DAX).
• Oversee data integration efforts across BigQuery, Azure Synapse, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses, ensuring performance, scalability, and data quality.
• Provide architectural oversight for report migration from Tableau to Power BI, including performance optimization and alignment to business KPIs.
• Performance monitoring, fine tuning and optimization of dashboard

Leadership & Collaboration

• Serve as the primary BI technical advisor to business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of BI solutions with business strategy and KPIs.
• Lead, mentor, and guide BI developers and analysts to elevate solution design, technical depth, and delivery quality.
• Partner with enterprise architects, data engineers, and business leaders to design cross-functional data strategies.
• Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies for BI solution delivery, scalability, and adoption.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, or Analytics, with at least 5+ years in a BI leadership or architecture role.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale Power BI architectures, including dataset design, semantic modeling, row-level security, and governance.
• Strong expertise in Power BI (Cloud Service), DAX, Power Query, and data modeling best practices.
• Hands-on experience in migrating BI assets from Tableau (or similar tools) to Power BI.
• Proficiency in SQL and data transformation for large-scale data environments.
• Experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery), Azure, AWS, and modern Data Lakes/Warehouses.
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and modern data architecture frameworks.
• Proven ability to architect scalable and performant BI environments, ensuring security, governance, and maintainability.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to define BI standards, governance, and architecture frameworks across a large enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Power BI or other BI platforms.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in leading BI delivery in agile environments.
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate preferred.
• Understanding of data security and compliance standards in cloud BI environments.
