As a Core Java Software Developer at our company, your role will involve creating solutions based on provided requirements, understanding technology to modify and maintain the existing platform, and coding all required layers/levels of the application. Key Responsibilities: - Learn and develop a deep understanding of the overall platform/application. - Provide strong technical supervision to the team for all assigned tasks. - Input and review all design-related decisions. - Enforce Code Quality Checks and Control. - Establish project schedules, assign tasks, monitor progress, and conduct technical reviews of projects. - Ensure organization standards are followed during software development lifecycle phases and maintain expected quality deliveries. - Study and develop a good understanding of the Functional aspects of the application. - Guide the team on design and development activities. - Program hands-on for development, maintenance, and enhancements of new & existing systems/platform. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 2 years of prior experience as a Software Developer. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with SDLC in a test-driven environment. - Domain knowledge in Investment Banking/Wealth Management is an added advantage. Competencies: - Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly. - Analytical ability. - Excellent communication skills. - Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude. - Attention to detail. Technical/Functional Skills: - Excellent knowledge and experience in Core Java. - Experience with databases like MS SQL. - Exposure to SAAS/PAAS technologies. - Knowledge of GWT and other Javascript frameworks such as ReactJS is a plus. - Basic foundational knowledge of Web Services is a plus.,
