Job Title: DCS System Engineer (Manual Testing & Project Execution)

Location:
Bangalore (Onsite)

Experience Required:
Minimum 4 Years

Work Type:
Full-Time, Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute
    end-to-end Distributed Control System (DCS) project lifecycle
    , including:
  • Requirement analysis, design, engineering, FAT/SAT, and commissioning
  • Onsite
    loop checking, system configuration
    , and troubleshooting
  • Perform
    manual testing
    of DCS modules, I/O cards, and HMI logic
  • Validate
    communication protocols
    :
    Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, OPC, HART, TCP/IP
  • Generate and review
    wiring diagrams, IO list, terminal layouts
    , and perform
    shop floor coordination
  • Prepare & execute
    FAT/SAT documents
    ; interface directly with customers during validation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commissioning, QA, and controls engineering
  • Use test management tools (JIRA, HP ALM, TestLink) for documentation and defect tracking

Mandatory Skills:

  • Minimum
    4+ years
    hands-on experience on any major
    DCS platform
    (ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell, Siemens, Schneider, etc.)
  • Proven experience in
    DCS project execution
    : FAT, SAT, loop testing, field commissioning
  • Strong expertise in
    manual testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of
    industrial protocols
    and interface standards
  • Experience in
    wiring diagram preparation
    , cable routing, panel layouts, BOM preparation
  • Hands-on with
    test documentation
    , reports, and root-cause analysis
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and ability to coordinate
    shop floor execution

Preferred/Good to Have:

  • Immediate joiners or short notice
  • Electrical panel testing or E&I commissioning exposure
  • OEM or EPC background preferred
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Shell) is a plus
