Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for a Junior Thermal Simulation Engineer. The role involves conducting thermal simulations, analyzing heat transfer and fluid flow systems, and utilizing simulation software to evaluate and optimize thermal designs. The engineer will work closely with the R&D team to support the development of innovative thermal management solutions, including miniature Loop Heat Pipe systems. Daily responsibilities will also include preparing reports, validating simulation results, and contributing to product development activities through mechanical engineering expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform
    thermal and fluid flow simulations
    using tools like
    ANSYS Fluent, Icepak, or COMSOL Multiphysics
    .
  • Model
    heat pipes, vapor chambers, thermosyphons, and cold plates
    for performance evaluation.
  • Assist in
    design optimization
    through parametric and sensitivity analyses.
  • Support in developing
    3D CAD models
    for simulation and prototype development.
  • Analyze simulation data, interpret results, and prepare detailed technical reports.
  • Collaborate with the
    testing and design teams
    to validate models against experimental data.
  • Participate in
    R&D discussions
    , contributing ideas to improve system efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation of simulation projects, version control, and test results.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in using Simulation Software and conducting thermal Simulations
  • Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
  • Experience with thermal systems or electronic cooling technologies is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate within a team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in
    Mechanical / Thermal / Aerospace Engineering
    or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of
    heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    simulation tools
    such as ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, or SolidWorks Flow Simulation.
  • Familiarity with
    CAD tools
    (SolidWorks, Creo, or Autodesk Inventor).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D environment.
