Job Title: Data Scientist

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our Housing Finance business in Gurgaon. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge credit risk modelling to support smarter credit decisioning and portfolio risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement credit risk models (scorecards, regression, decision trees, GBM, and other ML techniques)
  • Support credit decisioning and portfolio risk management through advanced analytics
  • Leverage Python/R, SQL, and statistical modelling to design scalable risk solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for model validation and monitoring

Skills & Experience Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science / risk modelling
  • Strong expertise in Python/R, SQL, and statistical techniques
  • Prior exposure to credit scoring / financial risk analytics preferred
  • Solid knowledge of machine learning methods (regression, decision trees, GBM, etc.)
