About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Data Build Tool (dbt) to join our growing data team. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights by building reliable and scalable data pipelines and models. The ideal candidate is passionate about data quality, analytics engineering, and has a strong foundation in SQL and modern data warehousing technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt and SQL.
  • Develop, test, and deploy modular, reusable data models in dbt to support analytics and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency on cloud data

platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).

  • Implement best practices for data quality, version control (Git), and documentation within dbt projects.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues proactively.
  • Stay current with industry trends and evolving best practices in data engineering and analytics engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer, preferably with a focus on dbt.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt : building models, tests, macros, snapshots, and

documentation.

  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or AWS Redshift.
  • Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data engineering tasks.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
  • Familiarity with data governance and security best practices.
