Job Title – Accounting Supervisor

About the Role:

As CBRE Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing oversight of a team that maintains a client's financial statements.

This job is part of the General Accounting job function. They are responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance of accounting processes and procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Leading a team of RTR Accountants,
• Staff motivation, appraisals, development and training;
• Monitoring and supervising all day-to-day accounting tasks, making sure that Month-end activities are performed in line with agreed SLAs,
• Ensuring timely and high-quality preparation of Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations and sub-ledgers to GL reconciliations;
• Securing robust compliance environment with applicable policies, procedures and processes;
• Optimizing processes within the department, supporting ERP and tools enhancement;
• Maintain client relationship with high integrity and appropriate communication manner;
• Close cooperation with other accounting teams, support no silos environment;
• Timely and quality delivery of ad hoc tasks assigned by RTR Manager.

What You'll Need:

• Master degree in Finance & Accounting;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate general ledger accounting within BSO/SSC, controlling or audit background – Big4 experience would be an asset;
• At least 1 year' experience in a management position;
• Fluency in English in speaking and writing;
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task, excellent problem-solving skills;
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build relationship across various Stakeholders
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• ERP PeopleSoft - experience preferred.
