Job Title: Senior Consultant Blackline Implementation

Location : Kochi | Thiruvananthapuram

Overview:

A Big4 consulting firm is hiring experienced professionals for BlackLine implementation projects. This is a techno-functional role focused on delivering finance transformation through technology enablement. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing BlackLine and related FCPM tools, with a strong understanding of finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementation of BlackLine solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into system configurations and workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes including account reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany transactions.
  • Design and optimize Chart of Accounts and close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption.
  • Work with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) for integration and data mapping.
  • Manage project teams and deliverables across multiple engagements.
  • Ensure alignment with finance transformation goals and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in finance transformation or consulting.
  • Proven experience in implementing BlackLine (mandatory).
  • Familiarity with other FCPM tools like Oracle ARCS, Trintech, Onestream, Redwood (preferred).
  • Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP/HANA, Oracle GL).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness to travel (domestic/international).

Qualifications:

  • MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
