Key Responsibilities

At Onething, we believe design has the power to move people, sometimes quite literally. As a Motion Graphic Designer, you'll be at the heart of that, creating dynamic video content, animations, and campaigns that capture attention and tell stories in seconds. From sleek reels to cinematic brand films, you'll experiment, push boundaries, and bring ideas to life in motion.

  • Design and animate motion content for videos, reels, digital campaigns, and product storytelling.
  • Collaborate with designers, strategists, and copywriters to develop creative concepts and translate them into engaging animations.
  • Work across tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop (bonus: Blender or Cinema4D).
  • Experiment with varied animation styles, minimal, dynamic, cinematic, or abstract, based on project needs.
  • Integrate AI-powered design tools (Runway, Pika, MidJourney, etc.) into workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.
  • Ensure brand consistency across motion deliverables while knowing when to break patterns to spark engagement.
  • Manage timelines across multiple projects, balancing creativity with deadlines.

Job requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in motion graphics and video editing.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe After Effects, with solid knowledge of Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Good understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and pacing that engages viewers quickly.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven design workflows (prompting, asset generation, refining outputs).
  • Creative thinker with the ability to adapt across multiple styles and formats.
  • Portfolio showcasing range, creativity, and storytelling skills in motion design.
  • Experience with character animation, interface design, or blending AI outputs with manual design is a strong plus.
