Job Description



Job Title - DevOps Engineer



Experience Level : 2 to 4 years



Work Location - Onsite, Mohali



5 days working (Mon to Fri). Must be flexible to work in 24 x 7 work environment.



Education Qualifications : Graduate in Computer Science/ Information Security or related field



Job Description:



As a DevOps Engineer in a SaaS company, your primary responsibility will be to build and maintain the infrastructure necessary to support the company's software applications and services. This includes working closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure that the infrastructure is secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective.



Job Responsibilities:




  2. Designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure such as Oracle, GCP, AWS, or Azure



  3. Managing the company's CI/CD pipeline to ensure code changes are deployed quickly and reliably using tools like Jenkins, YAML, and Manifest.



  4. Automating process using deployment on Kubernetes cluster for less manual intervention.



  5. Proficient with Docker-based container deployments. Experience in working on Docker hub, creating and managing multiple Images.



  6. Experience with Configuration Management tools like Ansible. Like configuring the new roles and playbooks for new migration tasks.



  7. Good knowledge of version control systems like Bitbucket, Git, or GitHub.



  8. Monitoring the infrastructure and applications using tools such as New Relic, Site24x7, Prometheus, etc., and responding to alerts in a timely manner.Hands-on experience in creating, managing, and backing SQL databases like MySQL, Cloud SQK, Oracle SQ, MSSQL, etc.



  9. Collaborating with software developers to optimize application setup, performance, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.



  10. Hands-on experience on web servers like Apache Tomcat, NGINX, Apache HTTPD, etc.



  11. Generalizing process for ease deployment to client side.



  12. Maintaining low downtime of servers by Monitoring cloud infrastructure and services, including configuration, scaling, etc.



  13. Responsible for handling requests based on incidents and providing technical support to other teams within the company and end-users as needed.



  14. Developing and implementing security protocols and policies to ensure data protection and compliance.



  15. Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing.





Essential Qualifications :-




  2. Graduate in Computer Science/ Information Security or related field



  3. Strong background in Linux/Unix systems administration, scripting languages such as Bash or Python.



  4. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and virtualization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker.



  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.



  6. Experience in SaaS companies is a plus.



  7. Must hands on experience with cloud platforms like Oracle, GCP, AWS or Azure
