Role Overview:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with strong technical testing and automation experience to join our global team. In this role, you will work closely with clients, developers, business analysts, product managers, and DevOps to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our trading and clearing systems.

You'll be involved in end-to-end testing, API testing, and test automation, contributing directly to our CI/CD pipelines and helping us maintain the robustness and integrity of our post-trade platforms.

This is a remote role based in India, suitable for a detail-oriented engineer who thrives in agile teams and fast-paced financial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and REST API applications
  • Perform end-to-end and integration testing for financial applications
  • Collaborate with developers and scrum teams to define test strategies and test plans
  • Implement tests in Java, and Python
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and test executions
  • Lead debugging and root cause analysis for failed test cases or flaky tests
  • Maintain a high standard of quality through Agile practices and participation in Scrum ceremonies
  • Act as a quality champion in cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality releases
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in QA Engineering, with significant hands-on experience in test automation and technical testing
  • Strong experience in testing tools and frameworks: Cypress, Mocha, Docker, Jenkins, TestComplete
  • Proven experience in API testing, particularly with REST APIs
  • Prior experience working in financial domains such as stock exchanges or clearing houses is highly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence
  • Solid knowledge in Java and/or Python
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with visual regression testing (e.g., Storybook)
  • Knowledge of performance testing and resilience testing
  • Certification in Scaled Agile (SAFe) or equivalent
  • Exposure to FIX protocol, Post Trade workflows, or stock trading systems
