Function Overview

The Finance organization partners across General Mills to provide financial expertise to guide and govern the company. Purpose of the role

The General Mills Financial Systems Integration (FSI) team oversees a global financial systems, data and process ecosystem that enables business growth and evolution, with uncompromising fiduciary integrity. The agile & experienced team governs systems and data, leads close and consolidation processes and provides strategic guidance on key enterprise and portfolio shaping initiatives.

General Mills leverages OneStream as our global consolidation platform. We are seeking a motivated individual to be part of our OneStream Administrator team, accountable for maintaining and optimizing the platform.  In this role you will work side by side with accounting, tax and other finance professionals to understand essential business & regulatory requirements so you can then partner with others on the FSI & technology teams to ensure the reliability and adaptability of the platform and associated processes. Critical success factors include a strong foundational understanding of OneStream architecture & functionality, a solid understanding of core financial accounting principles, a control-oriented mindset and a strong customer service orientation.

In this role, you will get exposure to the following experiences: own a significant functional process, govern and execute control activities, and provide leadership to global and cross-functional stakeholders. It will also allow you to develop & apply numerous capabilities including financial acumen, situational agility, process excellence and governance expertise.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Perform Administrator duties within OneStream application, including, but not limited to development and maintenance of metadata structures, business rules, workflows, dashboards, and reporting views/packages.
• Maintain all critical platform, environment, application and process controls
• Deliver on-going training and end-user education of the system functionality
• Troubleshoot and partner with D&T resources on technical issues related to the OneStream system.
• Support integrations and data quality processes (validations, mappings, transformations, confirmations) from source systems (SAP, other) in OneStream.
• Partner with SOX team to ensure internal control governance (including SOX requirements), documentation and coordination with internal and external auditors as it relates to system access and change management.
• Provide support for users and maintain system protocols in troubleshooting data validation, access, and reporting issues.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education – Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computure Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Financial Consolidation system administration, specifically in OneStream
• Strong documentation and communication skills, to support interaction with Finance customers and IT partners
• A strong background in accounting and finance
• Detail oriented, highly accurate, and conscientious with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
