 Looking out for Project Design Manager - In the Aluminium Project, design plays a big role as every project will require interaction with the Customer / Sales team / structural consultants and accordingly provide solutions from the existing portfolio or design a couple of new sections to meet the project requirements. The design manager will facilitate the sales, due diligence of solutions, and specific part development for the project with SCM & ensure timely execution of the solutions in the project, technical evaluations and documentation, records of MOM, and timely communications with customers.

Strategic
  • Ownership of the entire project life cycle for Facade Design Planning and execution
  • Work planning and time estimation
  • Design team capacity analysis and planning
Financial
  • Optimization of project requirements (MTO)
  • Creation of proper BOM and fabrication & installation documents for a project for correct execution
Customer/ External Orientation
  • ​​​​Understand project requirements
  • Meet the delivery deadlines of design work (Shop Drawings / Fabrication drawings)
  • Information flow.
  • Documentation of project with customers / internal/external
  • Explore various Value Engineering options to optimize the cost of projects

  • Education BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Civil engineering
  • Experience Minimum years experience in Façade design, majorly post-project award. Exposure to ME preferred
  • Experience in handling entire delivery post-project award
  • Hands-on experience in Shop drawings/fabrication drawings
  • ACad 2D & 3D

Design/Shop drawings approved by consultant

Train the design team to create/enhance their skill set
